DOJ’s Intervention in Stone Trial Upsets Federal Judges
An association of federal judges met Tuesday to discuss their concerns about the Trump Administration’s DOJ intervening in Roger Stone’s trial and General Flynn’s case. The DOJ took issue with the extreme proposed sentence of 9 years. The case is already controversial, as the jury foreman has evident bias against the President and his supporters, yet denied knowing who Stone was. The judge presiding over the case is the same judge who sentenced Paul Manafort to months of solitary confinement before he was even tried.
Pray for judges to perform their God-given mandate of judging righteously and interpreting laws correctly. Pray for an end to injustice and partiality. Pray for the light of truth to shine. Pray for corruption to be revealed. Pray for the protection of the innocent.
