Last Week of Prosecution in the Manafort Trial Begins
Due to a five hour delay on Friday, the prosecution will require one more day to present their witnesses against Paul Manafort. The government is pursuing charges that predate Manafort’s 8 weeks on the Trump Campaign. These charges stem from cases the government had previously chosen not to bring to court.
The jury is expected to deliberate soon.
Mueller is seeking to use a win here to strengthen his case against the Trump Campaign.
