VP Pence and Sec of State Pompeo Meet Erdogan, Arrange Cease Fire
Trump Administration officials met with Turkish President Erdogan, securing a 120-hour cease-fire between the Turks and the Kurds, who have been fighting for years. The Kurdish forces can pull back in this time. Turkish military operations will pause, and the operation will end when the the Kurds finish the withdrawal. A safe zone between the sides will be established.
