World Awaits Iran’s Response to US’s Attacks
The US has joined Israel in striking Iran. Bombers hit at least three nuclear-related sites, marking the US’s official entry into the conflict between Israel and Iran. Israel preemptively bombed Iran, claiming Iran was on the verge of having nuclear weapons. Since then, Iran has been firing missiles into Israel.
Public sentiment in the US is largely against another war in the Middle East. Despite this, the US has been moving a massive amount of assets into striking range of Iran.
Iran has voted to close down the Straights of Hormuz in response. This could drastically increase oil prices. It is unclear if Iran will respond further.
Innocent people on both sides are suffering and dying in this conflict. There are around 1 million Christians in Iran.
